Joined by Columbus City Councilmember Michael Stinziano and Columbus Women’s Commission Executive Director Shelly Beiting at Columbus City Hall, Call Management Resources President and CEO Malcolm Riggle signed The Columbus Commitment, an employer-led initiative to close the gender wage gap in Columbus. “We come here to make the commitment not only in central Ohio but to all of our employees, nationwide,” said Riggle.
Call Management Resources, a call center and answering service solution for businesses throughout central Ohio and nationwide, has been in business for over 60 years and has employees that work remotely throughout the United States. “When Call Management Resources was started as a local answering service, we were an office environment with a majority of female staff where women could start and build a career,” said Riggle. “When we heard about the Columbus Commitment, it was a no-brainer because equal pay and respect for diversity and inclusion are built into the DNA of our company.”
“I’m proud to work for Call Management Resources and know that the pledge we are signing today has been an ongoing commitment to all of our employees,” said Mimi Webb, Associate Director of Business Development for Call Management Resources. “Because most of our employees now work remotely, having the flexibility to work from home and maintain a career has shown to be of great benefit to our staff that would typically have to exit the workforce in order to start a family.
